Domestic leagues: Levski with a loss to Lukoil in the NBL

The 2010 EUROHOLD Balkan League champion - BC Levski Sofia lost the first derby game of the season in the Bulgarian NBL - against Lukoil Academic in the second round of the 2011/2012 championship. The "blues" fell short against the Bulgarian champions by 8 points - 80:72.
 
Most of Levski′s players didn′t fulfill the expectations, as only Hrisimir Dimitrov, Aaron Harper and Aleksandar Gruev scored in double digits. The veteran forward Dimitrov led the way with 18 points, Gruev added 14, while Harper finished with only 10 points on the night. Marcus Hall had 9.
 
Brandon Heath put on a show for Lukoil - 23 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Todor Stoykov added 14 points.
 
Levski′s next game is on the 27th of October against Hapoel Tel Aviv in Sofia.
