Domestic leagues: BC Galil Gilboa get their first win in the Israeli league

One of the Israeli participants in the 2011/2012 EUROHOLD Balkan League - Galil Gilboa achieved their first win in the Israeli league for the new season. The squad of head coach Lior Lubin defeated Hapoel Jerusalem by 21 points - 89:68.   Dagan Yavzuri led the team in scoring in the winning effort - 17 points. Courtney Fells and Joseph Jones added 13 and 12 points, while Ido Kozikaro came off the bench scoring 11.   Former NBA player DJ Strawberry scored 16 points for Hapoel Jerusalem, while Luke Jackson and Elishay Kadir added 11 points each in the loss of Oded Katash′s team.#   Gilboa are set to make their debut in the BIBL just in two days - on October 26th as they are visiting Montenegrin side Mornar Bar.
