Titi Papazov: We must be happy with the victory

Levski′s head coach Konstantin Papazov was very happy after the team′s win against Hapoel Tel Aviv in the EUROHOLD Balkan League. Titi was satisfied by his team′s performance, pointing out the strong first half. He said that this win is a gift for the 50th birthday of the club president - Ivan Djidjev.
 
"There just isn′t a way that I can′t be satisfied with the excellent play, that the team showed in the first half. We knew where our negatives were in the abscence of Vasco Evtimov, and I′m really satisfied with the first 20 minutes of Justin Eller, as after that the fatigue came. We thought that we could use Kunov as well, but he′s not ready yet. In the first half we managed to stop the strong side of Hapoel′s game and this was our advantage. We missed a couple of key opportunities to crush the opposition in the end, but finally the difference was normal after 40 minutes." Titi said.
 
"We have to be satisfied. I′m sorry that ater the strong first half I started dreaming about a big difference, as Feni′s loss to Hapoel is making for us an obligation to look for a win either in Kavadarci or in Tel Aviv. It won′t be easy, because once again we will play after a game against Lukoil Academic, This team has fantastic fan support, the best in Israel, and also the club is managed and controlled by the fans. Hapoel is playing in the National division for other reasons. They have 5 really strong players, but their budget is limited for something more. I′m happy because I watched Hapoel′s game with Feni, and I saw how easy things were happening for them. The tactical decisions that we took based on Toni Dechev and Niki Gospodinov′s scouting had an excellent result. We managed to counteract to Hapoel′s actions in the first half, but sadly we couldn′t continue in the same way after the halftime break. You saw the aggression in Marcus Hall in the opening minutes, and in the end. I′m sorry that Sasho Gruev wasn′t able to come in good off the bench today, after the great game he playd against Lukoil, and in that way we couldn′t rest Marcus more. I think that Sasho is one of the best bulgarian combo guards, with great offensive play, but he is experiencing trouble on the defensive side."
