Timisoara is hosting Torus, as both teams are in search of their first win

BC Timisoara is hosting KK Torus - SC Boris Trajkovski in the first game from Round 3 in Group A of the 2011/2012 EUROHOLD Balkan League. Both teams are in their first season in the BIBL, and suffered losses in their previous games in the competition so far.
 
The home side Timisoara lost to BC Rilski Sportist in Samokov in their debut in the Balkan League - 80:78 after a game-winning basket by Martin Marinov 1.5 seconds before the end of regulation. However the Romanian side revealed some of their potential, as they showed some good stuff during the loss to Riletso. Predrag Badnjarevic′s side will definitely be looking to get the win in their season opener at home in Sala Constantin Jude in Timisoara.
 
On the other side we have KK Torus - SC Boris Trajkovski - the team that hosted the season opener of the 2011/2012 EUROHOLD Balkan League. At home in Boris Trajkovski Sports Center in Skopje, the Macedonian side lost to KK Mornar in the first game of the new season - 79:84, so they will also search for their first ever BIBL victory.
 
In the first game for BC Timisoara Dominique Archie impressed with his performance - 18 points, 10 rebounds and 3 steals. Robert Sarovic was the second top scorer with 15 points, while Zlatko Jovanovic and Ivan Siriscevic had 11 points a piece. Timisoara fans will definitely expect more from Bogdan Popescu, Branko Cuic and Nenad Markovic.
 
Bojan Trajkovski was the top performer for Torus in the season opener, as the former Feni big man had 21 points and 6 rebounds. Dimitar Karadzovski, the other player on Slobodan Petrovski′s roster who has BIBL experience had 20 points and 6 assists. The coaching staff is probably expecting more from the imports on the team - Americans Justin Reynolds and Phil Turner, and also Serbian big guy Ilija Milutinovic, who didn′t receive any minuites in the opening game.
 
Timisoara and Torus are moving good so far in their domestic championships. After 7 rounds they are second in the standings with a balance of 6-1. Torus are also second in Macedonia, as they have a perfect balance of 5-0, but they also have a game less than the leader Feni.
 
The game tips off at 18.00 local time in Sala Constantin Jude in Timisoara, as it′s going to be broadcasted live on the romanian RTV and on SportMedia.TV. The officials for this game are from Serbia - Branislav Mrdak, Miodrag Licina and Uros Obrknezevic, along with the commissioner - Branko Jovanovic.
