Rilski and Mornar facing each other in search of a second win

BC Rilski Sportist are hosting KK Mornar Bar in their game from Round 3 in Group A of the 2011/2012 EUROHOLD Balkan League. The two teams are in search for their second wins in the new season of the BIBL, as Riletso has a balance of 1-0, while Mornar has a win and a loss - 1-1.
 
In their first BIBL game of the new campaign Rilski achieved a dramatic win against BC Timisoara at home in Samokov - 80:78. Rosen Barchovski′s got some injury issues, as 22-year old shooting guard Hristo Zahariev hasn′t played in the last couple of games for Riletso and it′s doubtful that he will be back online for the game against Mornar.
 
Mornar have already played two games in Group A. In the season opener of the 2011/2012 Balkan League they managed to upset KK Torus - SC Boris Trajkovski in Skopje, beating them 79:84. However in their second game the Montenegrin side fell short against Israeli vice-champion BC Galil Gilboa at home - 76:78.
 
Rilski Sportist relied on a strong performance from their Serbian duo - Branko Mirkovic and Filip Vukosavljevic in the first BIBL game for the season. Mirkovic, who won the 2009 BIBL championship with Riletso and is back on the team this year led the squad in scoring against TImisoara - 18 points along with 6 boards and 6 assists. Big man Vukosavljevic had 13 points plus 13 rebounds, including 7 boards on the offensive glass. Bogdan Boev and Martin Marinov are the other top scorers with 11 points each, along with sixth man Asen Velikov (9) who was a spark off the bench.
 
Jamaican PG Akeem Scott has been Mornar′s top scorer in the first two games of the campaign - 15.5 points along with 5.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists. Lazar Radosavljevic adds 13.0 points, while Filip Barovic and Ivan Jelenic have 12.5 each, as Barovic also grabs 7.5 rebounds. Big man Radoje Vujosevic is helping a lot wit h 7.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and a team-high 2.0 blocked shots.
 
Rilski and Mornar met twice last season (2010/2011) in Group B of the Balkan League. The teams exchanged wins, as Riletso won in Samokov (84:77), while Mornar took the W at home in Bar (83:74), so whoever wins tomorrow will have the positive balance in the history between those two.
 
The game is set for 17.30 local time in Arena Samokov in Samokov and will be broadcasted live on BNT 2 and at SportMedia.TV.
