Feni won an interesting and good game against Napredak

The defending EUROHOLD Balkan League champion - KK Feni Industries Kavadarci won 77:72 against KK Napredak Rubin Krusevac in an interesting and dynamic game played in Jasmin Hall in Kavadarci.
 
Feni got off to a relatively good start of the game, as they were in control of what was happening in the opening minutes. They were leading 8:3 with 8 minutes to go in the period. Miko Golubovic decreased the margin to just 1 point - 8:7, but Feni scored seven straight points, breaking ahead 15:7 with 6.30 left. Napredak managed to get closer, as they cut theyr deficit to just 4 - 17:13 with 3.37 to go. However Feni played strong until the end of the quarter and deservedly led 27:18 after the first period.
 
Napredak started the second period strong, as they were slowly getting close to Feni. The score was 32:28 with 7.30 to go, and three minutes after that it was tied at 36:36. The guest team had their first lead of the game - 36:39 in the 16th minute of the game. They extended it to 5 points - 36:41, as eventually that would be the difference halfway through the game - 40:45 for Napredak Rubin after 20 minutes of play.
 
Feni scored the first seven points in the second half, restoring their lead - 47:45. Napredak tied the score at 47:47, but Feni scored another seven unanswered points, making their lead 54:47 halfway through the third period. Darko Sokolov and Jarrid Frye scored the next six points, as Feni extended their run from the start of the period to 20:2, as the score was 60:47 with around 4 minutes to go. Napredak couldn′t handle Feni′s good play in this quarter, as after 30 minutes they were trailing by 15 points - 69:54.
 
The home side extended their lead to 71:54 early in the closing quarter, but Napredak wouldn′t give up. The Serbian team scored 10 straight points, getting closer to Feni - 71:64 with 5.12 to go. However Frye scored a three-pointer which put the champions ahead by 10 - 74:64. Both teams exchanged threes to make it 77:67, before Slaven Cupkovic cut down the difference to single digits - 77:70 with 2.50 to go. Ljubisa Vukosavljevic scored for 77:72 and Napredak still had hope with around a minute left. Jarrid Frye missed two shots from the free-throw line with 25 seconds to go, but Vukosavljevic missde a three-pointer 12 seconds before the end, and with that it was over for Napredak and Feni took a 77:72 win.
 
Jarrid Frye led Feni with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 3 steals. Darko Sokolov added 19 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists, while Marko Simonovski finished the game with 13 points.
 
Marko Puzic was the top scorer for Napredak with 13 points, Sasa Mihajlovic added 12 and Aco Mandic finished with 10.
 
Napredak Rubin outrebounded Feni Industries by 13 rebounds - 36 against 23. Both teams finished with 14 assists, a total of 28, but Feni made 8 steals against just 2 for Napredak.
 
In their next game the defending champions from KK Feni Industries are visiting HKK Zrinjski Mostar in Mostar on the 30th of November, while KK Napredak Rubin Krusevac will search for their first win against the same opponent - Zrinjski Mostar, but two weeks earlier in Krusevac - on the 16th of November.
