Domestic leagues: Blowout win for BC Timisoara

The Romanian participant in the 2011/2012 EUROHOLD Balkan League - BC Timisoara enjoyed a blowout win in Round 8 of the local championship in Romania. The boys of head coach Predrag Badnjarevic didn′t have any trouble beating Politehnica Unirea by 56 points - 104:48.   Coach Badnjarevic gave chance to everyone on the team to get some playing time in this game. Bogdan Popescu led Timisoara in scoring, as he had 17 points in just 20 minutes. Dominique Archie added 16, Nenad Markovic had 15 and Zlatko Jovanovic finished with 13 in the huge win.   This was the team′s seventh win in eight games so far, as they are currently second in the standings, sharing the same balance with the first team - Gaz Metan Medias (7-1).   In their next game from the EUROHOLD Balkan League Timisoara are facing OKK Beograd at home on the 15th of November.
