Strong second half gave Feni the win in Mostar (basketball.org.mk)

KK Feni Industries - the defending EUROHOLD BAlkan League champion grabbed an important win away from home, stunning HKK Zrinjski Mostar 68:76 in a game from Round 4 of hte 2011/2012 regular season of the BIBL.   The opening minutes of the game were interesting, as both teams exchanged the lead a couple of times. Halfway through the first period it was Feni who had a slight edge, as they led 8:10 after a basket by Jarrid Frye. The score was tied at 10:10 and 12:12 after that, but it was Zrinjski who led after 10 minutes of play - 18:15.
 
Zrinjski held on to their lead in the opening moments of the second quarter, extending it to 22:18, two minutes after the start of the period. With 5.54 left on the clock the home side had their biggest lead in the game so far - 30:21. Feni was struggling in the following minutes, but they managed to cut the deficit down to four points - 35:31 with 1.47 left. After 20 minutes of basketball Zrinjski still had the lead - 37:32.
 
Nothing changed in the first minutes after the halfime break, as Zrinjski still had the lead, before Feni managed to decrease the difference to just three points - 42:39 with 7 minutes to go. The defending champions of the Balkan League finally managed to turn things around, getting back in the leading position - 45:48 with 4.11 to go. The score once again was tied - at 49:49 and 51:51, but Feni was ahead after 30 minutes - 51:54.
 
Right after the start of the fourth period Feni extended their lead to 53:59. Zrinjski got close to their visitors - 62:63 with 5.25 left after a three-pointer by Armin Avdibegovic. Feni still kept on to their slight advantage, as 2.46 before the end they were ahead 64:66. Frye extended his team′s lead to 64:68 and until the end Feni didn′t let it go for a single moment. The final score was settled at 68:76 after the Macedonian side made 6 out of 7 free-throw attempts in the final two minutes of the game.   Jarrid Frye had a solid performance for Feni, finishing with 17 points. Ivan Lilov added 14, while Goran Samardziev finished with 9. Vladimir Brchkov and Sasa Ocokoljic scored 8 points each.   Luka Klarica led Zrinjski with 17 points and 5 assists. Marcel Jones had a double-double with 15 points and 16 rebounds, while Diego Kapelan added 14 points. Aleksandar Radulovic came one rebound short of a double-double - 15 points and 9 boards.   Feni are now second in Group B with a balance of 3-1, while Zrinjski are fifth with 0-4.
