Pepsi became Balkan International Basketball League partner for the current season
Pepsi became a partner of the Balkan International Basketball League. The world-famous company’s logo features at all tournament games, which are hosted by the participating Bulgarian teams, as well as on the referees’ shirts. The partnership contract has been signed between the league and PepsiCo’s Bulgarian bottler Quadrant Beverages. The collaboration between the two parties has developed since Pepsi supported the Final Four in last year’s tournament.
During the current tournament, Pepsi will aim to provide entertainment and prizes for the local spectators of the games. The beginning of this tradition will be marked at the Levski-hosted game against “Feni Industries” on the 15 December. In one
of the breaks between the game quarters, one of the spectators will have the
opportunity to win 100 litres of Pepsi. For that, he would have to score a 3-pointer with a single shot. The game starts at 17:30 in the ‘Universiada’ hall in Sofia.
“We’re glad that Pepsi is continuing its partnership with this interesting tournament. This year, alongside the brand’s presence at the games, we would like provide the Bulgarian fans watching the game live with an entertaining experience through games and refreshments,” said Tamir Shabat, CEO of Quadrant Beverages.
The Bulgarian participants in the Balkans Basketball League are “Levski” and “Rilski Sportist.” “Rilski Sportist” is third in the preliminary ranking in the A group with three wins and a loss. “Levski” is leading in group B with four wins out of four games.
