Domestic leagues: Rilski fell short against Lukoil away from home

Rilski Sportist, the runner-up in the 2011 EUROHOLD Balkan League suffered a heavy defeat in their game from the latest round of the Bulgarian NBL. The team lost to the defending Bulgarian champion Lukoil Academic by 24 points away from home - 91:67.   However despite the loss Rilski Sportist remained on the third position in the table of NBL with a balance of 6 wins and 4 losses after 10 rounds have been played.   Branko Mirkovic was the team′s top performer in the loss, finishing the game with 19 points and 5 rebounds. Ante Bilobrk added 12 points, Filip Vukosavljevic finished with 11 and Stanislav Vaklinov added 10.   Rilski Sportist′s last BIBL game for the year 2011 is coming next week - they will travel to Belgrade to face local side OKK Beograd on the 21st of December.
