Both teams made their debut in the competition during the current campaign, as Israeli side Hapoel are currently second in Group B with a balance of 4-1, while the Serbian representative Napredak occupies the fourth position with 2-3.Those two sides already met - in the first round of the 2011/2012 regular season, when Hapoel hosted Napredak in Hadar Yosef, and the final outcome of this game was a victory for the home team - 74:66 in favor of the Israeli squad, coached by Erez Edelshtein. Curtis Kelly had a double double with 16 points and 10 boards for Hapoel, while Slaven Cupkovic scored 17 for Napredak.
Slaven Cupkovic has been the key man for KK Napredak so far in the Balkan League.
