KK Mornar extended their winning streak to three in a row, after beating KK Torus - SC Boris Trajkovski at home in Topolica Hall in Bar. The final score was 84:68, and Mornar now has a balance of 4-2.KK Torus - SC Boris Trajkovski started the game really good, as Justin Reynolds completed a three-point play after being fouled, and Nikola Karakolev added a 2-point shot for 0:5 in favor of the visiting club early in the first period. Mornar however responded with 11 unanswered points, turning things around and getting an 11:5 lead with 6.15 to go. Torus cut their deficit down to four - 11:7, and after that scored six points against just one for Mornar, leading the game 12:13 with less than 3 minutes to go. Mornar quickly got the lead back after four straight points for 16:13 and didn′t let go of it until the end of the period, as after 10 minutes the home team led 23:20.
Mornar started the second period with a dunk by Filip Barovic and a three by Nikola Ivanovic, extending their lead to 8 points - 28:20 with 9.16 left. Torus however wouldn′t give up easy and managed to erase their deficit down to just two points - 32:30 with 6.51 remaining in the period. In the next minute and a half Mornar scored 11 points against just 2 for Torus, extending their lead to 43:32. They managed to keep their momentum until the end of the second periond and at halftime their lead was 14 points - 52:38.
KK Mornar started the third period with four straight points, extending their lead to a game-high - 56:38. Torus were set to get back in the game, and they decreased Mornar′s advantage to 11 points - 62:51 with a little less than four minutes remaining in the third, and until the end of the quarter they managed to get even closer to their opposition - after 30 minutes of play the score was 66:59 - 7 points more for the home team.
The home side extended their lead to 9 points in the start of the fourth period - 68:59, before Trajkovski and Reynolds decreased the difference to 5 - 68:63 with 7.11 left on the clock. Mornar answered with four straight points for 72:63, but Torus scored 5 unanswered after that cutting the deficit to four - 72:68. Mornar scored six points in the next two minutes, getting their lead back to double digits- 78:68 with 2.17 to go in the game. Torus didn′t score until the end of the game and Mornar added six more points, in order to settle the final score at 84:68.
A total of six KK Mornar players finished the night in double-digit scoring, led by Akeem Scott and Ivan Jelenic, as they had 16 points each. Lazar Radosavljevic added 12, Filip Barovic had 11 and Nikola Ivanovic and Stevan Milosevic scored 10 points each.
Bojan Trajkovski scored 19 points along with 5 rebounds for KK Torus - SC Boris Trajkovski. Justin Reynolds added a double-double - 17 points and 11 rebounds, while Dimitar Karadzovski had 12 points, 8 assists and 7 rebounds in the loss.
KK Mornar moved up to the second spot in Group A with a balance of 4-2. KK Torus SCBT dropped down to the sixth position with 1-5.
