Domestic leagues: Timisoara remained on top in Romania

BC Timisoara remained on top in the Romanian championship, after winning their game from Round 23 against Oradea 81:85 away from home. This was the team′s win number 17.   Bogdan Popescu was the main reason for the victory, as the experienced forward finished with 30 points and 10 rebounds in 34 minutes of play. Branko Cuic added 14 points and 8 assists, while Dominique Archie and Ivan Siriscevici finished with 13 points each, as Archie added 9 rebounds.   Nemanja Maric had 17 for Oradea.   Timisoara are currently on top of the table in Romania with 17 wins and just 3 losses so far.
