The host of the Final Four will be known in two weeks

The host of the 2012 EUROHOLD Balkan League Final Four will be known in two weeks. That′s what the Sports Director of the competition Mr. Shay Shtriks revealed, speaking to bgbasket.com. As of now there are three clubs have sent official letters that they have interest in organizing the event.
 
The clubs are BC Galil Gilboa and BC Levski Sofia, the winners respectively in Group A and Group B, who qualify directly to the Final Four.
 
Rilski Sportist also has interest and has sent a letter, but first they are playing Hapoel Tel Aviv in the quarterfinals, and only if they go further in the competition they can host the event.
 
Last year the EUROHOLD Balkan League was hosted by KK Feni Industries in Jasmin Hall in Kavadarci, and featured the teams of KK Feni, KK Mornar Bar, BC Levski and BC Rilski Sportist.   The Sports Director of the League also said that he is happy from the interest of Bulgarian side BC Beroe, coached by the legendary Georgi Mladenov, for participating in the BIBL. Georgi Mladenov spoke to bgbasket.com about the BIBL being a succesful and good project. However Shay Shtriks added that first Beroe must play in the NBL, and to show a good level and have the necessary abilities, before anything can be said about their possible participation in the Balkan League.
