Domestic leagues: Rilski Sportist defeated Yambol in Samokov

One of the quarterfinalists in the EUROHOLD Balkan League - BC Rilski Sportist achieved a win in Round 23 of the Bulgarian NBL. At home in Arena Samokov, Riletso defeated the visiting Yambol by six points - 81:75.   The home side was in control during of the game during the first half, leang 48:33, but after a strong second half by Yambol, the difference in the end was only 6 points - 81:75.   Once again Branko Mirkovic was the top performer for Rilski Sportist - 24 points, including four three-pointers. Filip Vukosavljevic added 14 points, while Ante Bilobrk finished with 10. Bogdan Boev had 9 and 4 assists.   Martin Durchev scored 15 for Yambol, while Yulian Radionov had 13 in the losing effort.   Rilski are third in the standings with 15 wins and 8 losses.   Riletso are leading the quarterfinal play-off series against Hapoel Tel Aviv 1-0, as the second game is on Tuesday in Israel.
