Feni has Mornar on their way to defending the title

The reigning EUROHOLD Balkan League champion - KK Feni Industries has a tough task ahead of them, on the way to defending the title. In the quarterfinal play-off series Emil Rajkovic′s team will face Montenegrin side KK Mornar Bar, as the first game from the series is tonight in Kavadarci.
KK Feni Industries finished third in Group B of the 2011/2012 EUROHOLD Balkan League - with a balance of 5 wins and 5 losses, while KK Mornar ended up on the second position in Group A with 6 wins and 4 losses. The first game is in Kavadarci, while the second and eventually the third will be played in Bar.
This won′t be the first meeting between Feni and Mornar, as in the history of the BIBL the two sides have played a total of five times. Twice in the 2009/2010 regular season, twice in the 2010/2011 regular season and once in the 2011 Final Four where Feni eliminated Mornar in the semifinals of the competition.
The balance is 4-1 in favor of Feni, as in 2009/2010 they achieved a 85:69 win in Kavadarci and a 69:88 win in Bar. In 2010/2011 Mornar took their only win, as it was away from home - 100:106 after overtime, as after that Feni won in Bar - 84:95, and also took the victory in the semifinals of the BIBL - 82:75.
Ivan Lilov has been Feni′s top perfomer in the group phase of the BIBL - 17.3 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game. Zlatko Gocevski adds 12.0 points and 4.5 rebounds, while Jarrid Frye has 11.3 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists. Goran Samardziev leads the team in pаssing with 3.5 assists.
Akeem Scott averages 17.3 points, 2.4 assists and 2.5 steals per game for KK Mornar. Ivan Jelenic adds 16.0 points and a team-high 2.7 assists, while Lazar Radosavljevic scores 11.6 points per contest. Filip Barovic adds 11.1 points along with a team-high 6.1 rebounds per game. The team′s latest addition - Michael Singletary is set to make his debut in the Balkan League.
Tip-off is set for 18.00 local time tonight in Jasmin Hall in Kavadarci. The game officials will be Ioannis Foufis from Greece, together with Miroslav Tomov and Vladimir Tsekov, both from Bulgaria, along with the commissioner Kamen Toshev, again from Bulgaria.
