Domestic leagues: Hapoel Tel Aviv won the regular season in the National League

Hapoel Tel Aviv, one of the Israeli semifinalists in the 2012 EUROHOLD Balkan League finished the regular season in the National League in Israel with style. In the last round - number 26, Erez Edelshtein′s boys defeated Elitzur Yavne by 19 points (89:70) and sealed the first position in the standings in the end of the regular season.   Hapoel played a good game, as they managed to increase the difference in the score after every single quarter, in order to set the final result at 89:70 in their favor.   A total of five Hapoel players scored in double digits in the winning effort, led by Demontez Stitt who had 19 points. Cory Carr added 16, while Gal Eytan finished with 14. Curtis Kelly landed a double-double - 13 points and 10 rebounds and Yonathan Skjoldebrand came off the bench scoring 10 points.   Hapoel remained on the first position in the standings after 26 rounds have been played, as their balance is 22 wins and 4 losses.
