Levski took down Feni and will play in the final on Monday Strong game for Haper

Levski Sofia took down the defending EUROHOLD Balkan League champion Feni Industries, after winning the semifinal game between the two clubs by 10 points of difference - 86:76. In Gan Ner in Israel in the opening game Levski led during almost the entire time and deservedly won in the end.
 
After neither side could break ahead of their opposition in the opening minutes of the first quarter, it was the defending champions Feni who managed to go on a 7-0 run, which gave them the first bigger lead of the contest – 8:14. Marcus Hall scored for 10:14, but Feni continued to play good and after the first quarter they were ahead by five points – 15:20.
 
Early in the second period Feni extended their lead to 7 points – 15:22, before Pavel Ivanov made it 17:22. It was Aaron Harper’s time in the following moments, as the American guard scored 11 straight points for his side, against just two for Feni, as Levski were ahead 28:24 with six minutes left in the first half. Darko Sokolov made two three-pointer s and Stefan Georgiev scored two for Levski, which tied the score at 30:30. Both sides were having a good day shooting from long range, as until the halftime buzzer the lead changed a few more times, but after 20 minutes of play Levski was ahead by one – 40:39, after 17 points by Aaron Harper in the second quarter.
 
Feni regained the lead early in the third quarter, scoring four straight points for 39:43. Levski answered with five straight for 44:43, but halfway through the quarter it was Feni who had the lead – 47:51. Titi Papazov’s side scored seven points against three for Feni in the next  two minutes, and led 55:54 with around three minutes left.  Until the end of the period Levski scored 8 points against just one for Feni, and after 30 minutes of play the score was 63:55 in favor of Levski.
 
Levski opened up the fourth quarter with  five points against just two for Feni, as the Bulgarian team had their first double-digit lead of the game 68:57 with 8.25 remaining. However Feni didn’t give up as Jarrid Frye made a three-point shot(68:60), starting an 9-0 Feni run, as the difference was only two points – 68:66 with 6.55 to go, as Goran Samardziev scored a three-pointer. Levski scored  nine points in a row, as they didn’t allow Feni to make a single basket, and once again held a double-digit advantage – 77:66 with 2.56 left.  Feni  weren’t able to cut the deficit until the end, as Levski remained ahead by double digits, as in the very last moments of the game the score was settled at 86:76.

 
Aaron Harper was the key to Levski′s victory tonight - he scored 30 points along with 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Marcus Hall added 18 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists. Dimitar Angelov had a strong game as well - 13 points and 7 rebounds, while Stefan Georgiev finished with 11 points and 6 boards.
 
Ivan Lilov led Feni in scoring with 20 points, as he added 6 rebounds and 3 assists, while Jarrid Frye also had a solid performance with 19 points. The MVP from last year - Darko Sokolov scored 17 points in his team′s loss. 
 
After the game tonight and Levski′s win, the team advances to the final on Monday, where they will meet the winner from the game between Galil Gilboa and Hapoel Tel Aviv, in which the new BIBL champion will be determined, while the 2011 champs Feni are going home.
