Petar Georgiev, president of Rilski Sportist: I′m happy with the third place, this is a big success for our small city

Rilski Sportist finished third in EUROHOLD Balkan League and the president of the team - Mr. Petar Georgiev, was happy with the result. His team hosted the Final 4 this year and he heard only good things by all guest teams in Samokov:
"Of course I′m happy with the third place. For me this a big success for our small city. It′s a big achievement to finished third in EUROHOLD Balkan League. Of course you can always do better but given the strength of the other teams our final position is good. There was also a pressure on us as hosts but overall I′m happy.
The others need to say if they liked the organization. To us this cost a lost and the word I hear from all the guests is that everything is ok, they don′t have any complains. Everybody is very happy and even at the meeting with other managements the one of Galil said that they want to be in the same group with Rilski Sportist for next season which shows that we are good hosts.
Our participation in EUROHOLD Balkan League is useful and gives more kids a chance to watch good basketball. I remind once again - 20 years ago nobody in Samokov knew what basketball and now the people are learning and I think these are the most correct fans in Bulgaria. Overall I′m happy with what we′ve done here - from the public and from this that is happening in Samokov."
