Domestic leagues: Levski opened the playoffs with victory

Levski started the playoffs in the local championship with a home win. The team defeated Beroe 89-69 and is one victory away from reaching the semifinals. The second game is on Wednesday in Stara Zagora.
The first half was even and Levski couldn′t pull away. In the third quarter the home team had an advantage of 7-8 points and in the end of it pulled away by 16. At the start of the last one the margin went up to 20 points and they cruised on to take the victory.
Mladen Pantic had 20 points in a winning effort, Pavel Ivanov added 14 and Dimitar Anguelov scored 13.
