Galil Gilboa finished 4th in a tournament in Poland

Current EUROHOLD Balkan League champion - Galil Gilboa, played a friendly tournament in Poland and recorded three straight defeats.
In the first match the Israeli side lost to Energa Czarni 72-85. The polish team won the first quarter 28-14 and from then on had no problems to close out the game.
In the second day Galil played a much closer affair but was beaten 67-68 by Slask Wroclaw. The team had a chance to win but in the final minutes Slask did better. Tamir Simchony had 23 points in the losing effort while Rick Jackson and Gerald Robinson each scored 12 points.
In Day 3 Galil Gilboa was defeated by Turow 74-85. The Israeli team won the first quarter 27-22 but couldn′t win any other. Turow managed to turn around the score and after 30 minutes had a 2-point lead. In the last quarter the team from Poland increased the advantage and won the match. For Galil 8 points apiece score Nimrod Tishman, Tamir Simchony and Tony Younger.
