Levski won convincingly its first friendly game

Levski defeated Spartak Pleven 97-64 to win convincingly its first friendly game of the new season. The Blues from Sofia won also the Cup of Gabrovo as this was a game for a trophy.
The first quarter of the match was an even one but from then on Levski played much better. The team made a 7-0 run in the second quarter and at the halftime break the advantage was 9 points. After it a 13-1 run increased the lead to over 20 points and from then on Levski had no problems.
Top scorer for the winners was Ventsislav Petkov with 17 points. Hristo Zahariev added 12 and 7 rebounds and in his debut game Jumaine Jones finished with 11 points and 6 rebounds.
