Kumanovo defeated Kozuv in the final of a tournament

The two Macedonian representatives in EUROHOLD Balkan League - Kumanovo 2009 and Kozuv, met in the final of a friendly tournament that was held in the city of Kumanovo. In the game the home team won 88-83 and by this took the trophy.

The decisive quarter was the third one as the hosts scored a total of 30 points in it and overturned the score. Thanks to that good play after 30 minutes Kumanovo took a 10-point lead and managed to keep it until the end.

Marijan Janeski was the top scorer for the winners with 23 points and Mandic added 21.   In the semifinals Kumanovo defeated Rilski Sportist 89-79 while Kozuv got the better of the champions MZT Skopje winning 81-76.
