Domestic leagues: Sigal Prishtina defeated KB Peja in the big game of Round 3

The two EUROHOLD Balkan League participants from Kosovo met in the big match of Round 3 in the local league. KB Sigal Prishtina hosted the champions KB Peja and won 73-67. After this result the hosts have 3-0 record while the champions are with 2-1.
Sigal started better in the match and won the first two quarters taking an 11-point advantage. However Peja bounced back in the third and after good defence cut the deficit to just 2 points. With 2 minutes to go the score was tied but the hosts went in front. Then the visitors scored just one free throw that was folled by two made for Sigal. The game was decided with 46 seconds left when Aurimas Kieza scored a triple and after that there was no coming back for Peja.
Top scorer for the winners was Tay Waller with 20 points. Dardan Berisha added 14 against his former team and K`Zell Wesson had 11 points.
For Peja 11 points had Vedran Morovic and 10 apiece added Fred House and George Odufuwa.
