Shay Shtriks: Enjoy this big basketball celebration called EUROHOLD Balkan League

Today is the start of the new season in EUROHOLD Balkan League. Nine teams, a lot of games and a lot of excitement awaits us during the new campaing. Here is what the Sports Director - Mr. Shay Shtriks had to address to the people before the first jump ball:     Dear Friends,   EUROHOLD Balkan League is standing in the beginning of its 6^th edition with a new system and totally changed scheme - league of 9 teams, 80 games, new rules for the foreign players, much more emotions and quality basketball. This is a huge challenge not only for the clubs but for us in the league as well. I am sure it will only make the competition much stronger and more attractive to the fans. I would like to welcome all the participants and wish them good luck in the new season, not only with us but also in their domestic championships. This year we have 3 new teams - SCM U Craiova (Romania), KB Sigal Prishtina  and KB Peja (Kosovo). To them, I will say "Welcome to the big Balkan family!" I hope they will prove with their performance they deserve to be part of the competition and they will contribute to the improvement of the level of the games in the league. To the rest of teams that have experience of playing in the league, I will say "welcome back" and I believe they will be again good and competitive opponents, and they will fight to make the league tough and more interesting.   Season 2013-2014 starts with big success from media point of view as we have managed to reach to 100% of the games LIVE internet broadcast in Sport Media TV and 90% LIVE TV broadcast. From 9 teams there will be only 1 team without TV channel partnering with us.   Here it is the place to say again special thanks to our main sponsor EUROHOLD for standing firmly next to us from the first day the League started.
