In the opening game of EUROHOLD Balkan League we saw KK Teodo defeat BC Balkan dramatically 76-71 with an important triple near the end. Here is what both coaches said after the end of the match:
Slobodan Savovic, head coach of KK Teodo: "Surely our players felt a bit nervous being this the first game of the new season and we started bad in the first quarter when we were down by 10 points. Then we started to play more agressive in defense and offense. As you saw it was a close game, the team of Balkan has a good budget with great Bulgarian internationals. We showed more desire, more will and at the end we got the victory. I want to thank the fans in the gym. It was not full but I′m sure that in the next games there will be no empty seats. I′m sure this team deserves more support and our fans showed last season that they are the best." 
Aleksandar Todorov, head coach of BC Balkan: "Teodo scored a triple after we had two mistakes in the end - one of them with 40 seconds to go and 1 point in our favour when we were called for a traveling and I think this was the key offense in the game. You cannot defeat a team like Teodo when at the end you miss a free throw and then you make a traveling. I congratulate Teodo for the deserved victory and we′ll continue to fight."
