Week two of EUROHOLD Balkan League is about to get underway with the first two games. After last week eight teams started their participation in the competiton as BC Galil Gilboa rested. This week is the turn of KB Peja as the team doesn′t have a game.
First BC Levski will host KK Kozuv on Tuesday and will try to take its first win. The teams started differently the competition as The Blues from Sofia lost in Craiova and the team from Gevgelija took the victory at home against Peja. Levski will try to improve its performance and the play of point guard Lionel Chalmers will be key to that. Of cours Jumaine Jones also has to step up and Hristo Zahariev, Djordje Micic and Pavel Ivanov will also have a rol. For Kozuv the biggest threat will come from Igor Mijalovic, Dimitar Karadzovski and Miladin Pekovic but the team has other good players as well who can make the life of the home team very difficult.
The second game on Tuesday sees KK Kumanovo hosting SCM U Craiova. The home team lost its first game a week ago and now needs a win in the second or otherwise the things will become much harder. Nemanja Vranjes is showing a great form for Kumanovo and Vukasin Mandic, Ivan Miskovic and the others need to help in order to get the victory. On the other side SCM U Craiova comes to this match with the confidence of getting good wins both in EUROHOLD Balkan League last week and in the local championship during the weekend. The Romanians will of course try to take another victory and to have a 2-0 record in two games. Le Var Seals, Travis Bureau and Bogdan Popescu are showing good performances and their team will come with only one thing in mind - to silence the home crowd of over 4 000 people and try to take the victory.
