KK Kozuv took a precious away win against BC Levski

KK Kozuv (Gevgelija, MKD) recorded a great away win in the second round of EUROHOLD Balkan League. The team managed to defeat BC Levski (Sofia,BUL) 84-71 and are now with 2 victories from two games in the league. The Blues from Sofia on the other side have lost both their games. Next week Kozuv will try to make it three in a row when the team hosts BC Balkan as Levski is traveling to Peja to meet the local team.

Kozuv led for most of the first quarter but couldn′t built a big lead. Still after ten minutes the visitors were up but Levski managed to take the advantage shortly after the start of the second. Then Kozuv responded with a 8-1 run that gave the team a 6-point advantage before it was cut down ot 3 at the break.

The visitors led for the whole third quarter without allowing Levski to tie the score. Their biggest advantage was 7 points and it stood after 30 minutes before entering the last part of the match. The game was practically decided when Kozuv made a 7-0 run that increased the advantage to 12 points with 6 minutes to play. From then on the visitors controlled the score and took the victory.

Slobodan Bozovic was the top scorer for the winners with 19 points. Austin Dufault added 18 and 6 rebounds and Igor Mijalovic scored 17 points and dished out 7 assists.

Djordje Micic had 16 points and 6 assists for Levski as Nikolay Varbanov added 15 points and 7 rebounds.
