The two Bulgarian participants in EUROHOLD Balkan League met during the weekend in a game that was expected by many, In the match Levski defeated Balkan away 92-88 and recorded second straight win in the championship. Balkan on the other hand lost its first game of the new season.

Balkan started much better and in the second quarter had a double digit lead. In the end of the third though Levski made an 8-0 run to tie the game and with 5 straight points in the fourth the visitors took the lead which they kept until the end.

Hristo Zahariev was great for the winners and finished with 37 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists. 12 points had Dimitar Anguelov.

For the home team Gabe Knutson had 20 points and 10 rebounds as Noah Dahlman added 18 points.
