Four games are to be played this week in EUROHOLD Balkan League. The first two games are today and the next two days there is one game each evening.
First BC Levski will host KK Teodo with both teams having the same 1-2 record so far. Levski didn′t start well and lost its two opening games but then got a nice away victory against KB Peja. The Blues from Sofia are going to try to get their second win in a row and the team is getting healthier which is important. Lionel Chalmers and Jumaine Jones found some of their form a few days ago in the local league and will try to continue that way today as well. On the other hand Teodo will have a tough task playing in Sofia today. The head coach Slobodan Savovic′s team had a match on Sunday and the physical condition will be important. However Savo Djikanovic and Nikola Vucurovic have a lot of experience and they can lead their younger teammates in the match today.
The second game tonight sees KK Kumanovo 2009 hosting KB Peja. This will be the third straight home game for Kumanovo as the team currently holds 1-1 record and will now try to improve it. The hosts signed Royce Parran to replace Nemanja Vranjes and so far he is doing well. Ivan Miskovic and Vukasin Mandic are very important to the team and their performance will be key tonight. On the other hand KB Peja is the only team without a win so far as they lost their first two games. The team from Kosovo however has some quality especially with Fred House on the court. They signed a new player - Teo Simovic and will for sure do their best to try and win this match.
Wednesday′s game sees KK Kozuv host in Gevgelija SCM U Craiova. Both teams have the same 2-1 record and of course both will be looking to move up in the standings. Kozuv started good and won its first two games but then lost at home to Balkan. The Romanians won its both matches at home but lost during their only trip which was against the other Macedonian team - KK Kumanovo 2009. The hosts will rely on their backcourt power with Mijalovic, Karadzovski and Pekovic while the visitors will want to get good performance from Dzambic, Seals and Popescu who can lead the others.
The last game for the week is between KB Sigal Prishtina and Teodo in Kosovo. The hosts of course will be looking to keep themselves in one of the top positions as they will look for the third victory. In Prishtina will be very tough for each team and Teodo will experience that. The visitors′s physical condition will be important as they have a match two days before that against Levski. Nevertheless Teodo will try to perform well and make things difficult for the hosts.
