This week of action in EUROHOLD Balkan League will see three games. The first two will be played today and the third one is tomorrow.
First at 17.30 hrs local team in Macedonia the local KK Kumanovo 2009 is hosting BC Balkan in both teams fourth matches in the competition so far. An interesting fact is that the hosts have played all their games in their gym while the team from Bulgaria has played all of its games away. Kumanovo has some advantage as the team is performing well at home and also the fans give a lot of support. Ivan Miskovic is the top scorer of the competition so far as he is often helped by Vukasin Mandic and the new signing Royce Parran. On the other hand the only win for Balkan has come in Macedonia and the team is eager to win once again. Ivan Lilov, Pavel Marinov and Stanimir Marinov are the ones expected to lead their teammates and they have to do well if the team wants to have a chance to get the victory.
The second gae of today sees KK Teodo host KK Kozuv in Tivat. The home team played two away games last week and performed very well against BC Levski and KB Sigal Prishtina losing both teams right at the end. Now at home will be different and the likes of Nikola Vucurovic and Savo Djikanovic have what to takes to try and lead the team to a win. Kozuv has 3 victories and 1 defeat so far and the squad from Gevgelija will look to build on that in order to stay in the first positions of the league. Igor Mijalovic, Dimitar Karadzovski and Miladin Pekovic form the backcourt of a good roster that is playing constanly so far and has the ability to win in Tivat.
The last game of the week is tomorrow and we expect an interesting one. This is because in Israel will meet BC Galil Gilboa and BC Levski Sofia - the finalists from the last two editions of EUROHOLD Balkan League. Both teams have good quality but the hosts have an advantage playing in their own gym. They have a new player in DeShawn Sims but the likes of Rick Jackson, Gerald Robinson and the locals Amit Simchon and Nimrod Tishman are expected to do well. Levski is coming to this game after a big loss and bad performance in the local league. The Blues will want to erase that defeat from the memory and the best way is by playing good in Israel. Lionel Chalmers needs to step up in that match and Jumaine Jones also has to play an important role. However Djordje Micic, Hristo Zahariev and Nikolay Varbanov also need to play good if Levski is to have a chance at the victory.
