Konstantin Papazov: The win in Israel is important but cannot be a revenge for losing the two finals with Galil Gilboa

In the last game of the week in EUROHOLD Balkan League BC Levski defeated away BC Galil Gilboa. Both teams have history in the competition as they met in the last two finals and both teams Galil won - first after one overtime and then in double overtime. The head coach of Levski - Konstantin Papazov was happy with his team victory but said that it cannot be a revenge for losing the two finals:
"It was very important to get back on the right tracki after losing in our local league. We played free, there was no pressure on us and may be this was the key for the win. We also had very good three-point shooting and that helped us. In one week we showed a high percentage for 3-point shooting against Teodo and Galil but between those matches we were bad against Cherno more. This win is important as now we have two away from home. We defeated a strong team and I′m happy. Every win gives you confidence and especially after losing in the local championship this game was important to us.
This game cannot be a revenge for the two lost finals. If we get to the Final 4 and then we defeat them, then maybe we can talk. This game cannot be compared to the ones we lost in the finals.
The strength of the teams in the competitions is very even and perhaps this season is the best so far. There is no team that would give up from the figth to enter the eliminations. Galil is practically a new team, with very good coach and I believe they will be one of the main contenders for the trophy."
