Galil Gilboa defeated Kozuv away after a better last quarter

BC Galil Gilboa is back to the winning ways in EUROHOLD Balkan League after suffering two straight defeats. The current champions played away at KK Kozuv and won 72-65. With this the team now has 3 victories and 2 losses while Kozuv stands at 4-2. 
 
The game was decided in the last quarter as it started with the score tied. Before that both teams exchanged leads but none could take any advantage. Then in the fourth quarter Kozuv scored the first 3 points but then Galil answered with an 8-0 run to take the lead. From then on the visitors were in front and the hosts were trying to catch them. With a triple the hosts cut their deficit to just 3 points in the last minute but then Stu Douglas made two free throws which was enough for Galil to take the victory.
 
Kozuv made 11 triples out of 38 attempts while Galil was 5 of 15. However the visitors won the rebounding battled and had the advantage in second chance points - 14 to 3.
 
Rick Jackson had 18 points and 7 rebounds for the win as DeShawn Sims added 17 points. 
 
For the hosts Miladin Pekovic scored 14 points with 13 apiece having Slobodan Bozovic and Dimitar Mirakovski.
