Domestic leagues: No problems for Levski, great win for Balkan against the champions

Levski recorded a win in Bulgarian championship during the weekend. The Blues played Spartak Pleven away and won the game 83-67. Levski took over in the middle of the first quarter and had no problems until the end.
Lionel Chalmers was the top scorer with 16 points as Pavel Ivanov added 15.
A great win in this round had the team of BC Balkan. The Greens from Botevgrad visited the champions Lukoil Academic and took the victory by a score of 96-93. Balkan had a 10-2 run at the end of the first quarter and then in the second the lead went to 14 points. Lukoil cut it twice in the second half but both times the visitors had an answer and won at the end.
Ivan Lilov had 26 points, including 6 triples in the game, while Stanimir Marinov and Noah Dahlman scored 19 points apiece.
Levski is currently tied for 1st place with 5 wins and 1 defeat while Balkan is 4th with a 4-2 record.News
