Peja with a great comeback win against Teodo

KB Peja won its second straight game in EUROHOLD Balkan League. The team hosted KK Teodo and won 70-66 despite being down by 17 points after the first 20 minutes. In the second half the hosts made a great comeback and delighted its home fans with the victory. It puts Peja on a 2-4 record while Teodo is now at 1-7.
 
In the first six minutes both teams were even but the first quarter finished on a 9-2 run for the visitors and they took the lead. They continued to impress in the second as well and despite the fact that the hosts cut the deficit to 3 points, Teodo quikcly answered and pulled away by scoring 7 straight points. Later they made an 8-0 run which put them ahead by 18 points and at the halftime break they led by 17.
 
From the start of the second half the players of Peja were determined to come back in the game and they closed the gap. They started on a 5-0 run to show their meanings and later after scoring another 5 straight points they cut the gap to 7. Teodo managed to score but the hosts were in a good moment and by the end of the quarter the were down by just 2 points.
 
With two minutes played in the fourth quarter Drilon Hajrizi nailed a triple and the hosts took the lead. Then they scored another three-pointer and in the next few minutes the difference remained 4 points. With less than two minutes to go the hosts went up by 6 but still Teodo cut the deficit to just 1 after making a 5-0 run with a minute left. Then it was the moment of Samir Saptahovic who scored a triple with 34 second on the clock and after Teodo made a mistake the game was over. 
 
Samir Saptahovic had a very good game for the winners as he scored 27 points while Fred House added 17. 
 
For the visitors Nikola Korac finished with 16 points as Manuel Johnson had 10.
