Levski won dramatically at home

Another dramatic game was witnessed in EUROHOLD Balkan League. This time BC Levski won a difficult one at home after defeating KB Sigal Prishtina 91-87 in overtime. Both teams had a chance to snap the victory as the game was full of dramma and interesting moments. However the hosts managed to do better in the final moments and they came out with the win. After this match both teams have 5 victories and 3 defeats.
Levski had the better start and in less than two minutes the team was up 9-2. Then Sigal twice managed to cut its deficit to just 2 points but at the end of the first quarter held a 7-point advantage. The second started on a 13-4 run for the home team and suddenly they were up big. However Sigal improved their defense and finished the half on a 16-6 run that got them back in the game.
The second half started great for the visitors and with 11-0 run they took their first lead. Levski responded with the next 5 points but Sigal played very good and kept the lead and even increased it to 9 points with a triple by Tay Waller at the end of the third quarter. Then the visitors twice managed to take a 10-point advantage but Hristo Zahariev′s triple and one free throw cut Levski′s deficit to 6. Sigal though answered with a very important three-pointer by Dardan Berisha but still Levski came back in the game with an 8-2 run that cut the deficit to 3 points with two minutes to play. Sigal scored on its next posession but Jumaine Jones triple for the hosts was followed by a mistake for the visitors. That gave Levski a chance to tie the score and Hristo Zahariev did it with 21.7 seconds left on the clock. In the last offense Sigal couldn′t score and the game went to overtime.
In the extra five minutes Levski was up by 5 points with two minutes to go but Dardan Berisha made a triple and Kendrick Jones could′ve tied the score but he made only one free throw. In the last minute Sigal had a chance to go up but Berisha lost the ball and then Levski finished off the match.
Pavel Ivanov was the top scorer for the winners with 20 points as Hristo Zahariev had 16, including a lot in the decisive moments.
For the visitors Kendrick Jones had 23 points as Dardan Berisha added 19.
