This week′s action in EUROHOLD Balkan League offers us three matches with big importance to the standings. They made answer us some questions regarding the top positions in the league and the battle for the Top 2 positions which secure a spot in the Final 4.
The only match today sees KK Teodo hosting SCM U Craiova. This is probably one of the last chances for the home team to keep its hopes alive of reaching the Top 6. They are on a bad run of eight straight defeats and another one will decide almost surely the team′s fate. Craiova on the other side has a 4-6 record and needs to secure the victory in order to continue its bid for a Top 6 place. The Romanians already won in one of the toughest arenas to play - the one in Prishtina, and they have the experience and the quality to do so once again.
Levski will host Peja in search of the team′s fourth straight win in the new year. The Blues are on a run of three victories by making big comebacks in the final quarter and this time will look to finish their job a lot earlier. Peja of course will also try to play well and secure the win but even if they lose they still will keep their chances of going to at least the Top 6.
In the last game Sigal Prishtina will welcome the champions Galil Gilboa in a huge match for both sides. A win for the hosts will keep their hopes of reaching the Top 2 alive while a defeat will almost certainly kill them. On the other hand if Galil wins the team will make a big step towards securing its position to a third straight Final 4. Surely the gym will be packed and the atmosphere will be a great one so we can expect a good match between the two sides.
Sportmedia.tv will broadcast all three games this week.
