Great defense led Peja to win against Levski

KB Peja recorded a very important away win in EUROHOLD Balkan League. The team visited BC Levski in Sofia and took the victory by a score of 81-69. Peja played very good defense throught the game and deserved the win. It gives the team 5-5 record while Levski is at 7-4.The visitors started very well and took an early 13-2 leda. Levski cut some of its deficit but it wasn′t enough to threaghten Peja′s lead as the visitors once again pulled away by double digits. Before the break Levski made a 7-0 run which cut the deficit to just 7 points but the second half started on a 13-4 run for the visitors which gave them a 16-point lead. Then it became 19 points but Levski answered with a good run that brought them back to 7 in the last quarter. However the players of Peja managed to keep their advantage until the end and took this important win.
Samir Shaptahovic was the top player for the winners with 22 points and 6 assists while Fred House had 18 points and 6 rebonds.
For Levski 15 points had Djordje Micic as 12 apiece scored Jumaine Jones and Hristo Zahariev.
