Galil Gilboa moved to the top of the standings

BC Galil Gilboa is the new leader in EUROHOLD Balkan League. The current champions of the competitions hosted KK Kumanovo 2009 and won 94-72. They played a great second half when the advantage was built as the visitors had no chance after the break. With this result Galil now has 9 wins and 4 losses which moved the team to the first place in the standings. Kumanovo ot the other hand recorded the sixth straight defeat and now stands at a 6-8 record.   The first half was very even at after the end of it the scored was tied. Galil though started the second very motivated and it paid off quickly. In a span of three minutes the hosts made a 10-0 run which broke the tie. The continued to have a good lead and it went up to 14 points at the end of the quarter. At the start of the fourth Galil made a 13-0 run which finished off the game.   Anton Kazarnovski was the top player for the winners finishing with 28 points and 7 rebounds. Kenny Boynton scored 16 points as 13 had Gerald Robinson.   For the visitors Ivan Miskovic had 21 points and 10 rebounds while Nemanja Vranjes added 18 and 7.
