Six straight wins for KK Teodo after a buzzer beater at the end

KK Teodo continued its impressive performance in recent weeks as the team recorded its sixth straight win in EUROHOLD Balkan League. The squad from Tivat hosted KB Peja and won 82-79 after a three-pointer at the buzzer. This result put Teodo on a 7-8 record and the team is now almost certain for a spot in the playoffs. Peja on the other side is with a 6-8 record and still has two games left. Next week Teodo will visit Balkan while Peja is playing away at Galil Gilboa.
 
Teodo scored the game′s first seven points and from then on had the lead. With less than four minutes to go in the first half it went up to 14 points but the visitors managed to finish it on a good run and cut the deficit to 4 before Nikola Vucurovic scored a triple at the end for the hosts.
 
Teodo′s lead went down to 2 points in the third quarter but the hosts didn′t allow Peja to tie the game or take the lead. The hosts answered with a 7-0 run that put them ahead and after 30 minutes were up by 8 points. However the visitors didn′t give up and after making an 11-0 run in the fourth quarter took a 4-point lead. Then Teodo tied the score at 73-73 but Peja answered with the next four points. The hosts made a 5-0 run to take the lead but then Gerti Shima scored for the visitors. Then both teams missed and with 6 seconds to go Srdjan Subotic was fouled. He made only the first free throw but then Peja made a mistake and it gave a chance for Teodo in the last four seconds. It was enough for Radomir Pekic to receive the ball and score a three-pointer at the buzzer to win the game for Teodo.
 
Nikola Vucurovic was the top scorer for Teodo with 20 points as he also had 9 rebounds. Savo Djikanovic had 16 and 9 while the hero Radomir Pekic finishes with 14 points.
 
22 points apiece for the visitors had Fred House and Samir Shaptahovic (13 assists).
