Konstantin Papazov: It′s important to win for our confidence

Levski is hosting Balkan tomorrow in a game that will have a lot to do with the standings in the regular season of EUROHOLD Balkan League. Both teams played in the Bulgarian championship a few days ago and Balkan won at home. Here are the words of the head coach of Levski - Konstantin Papazov less than 24 hours before the match:     "We are meeting a good team that has serious psychological advantage over us. This is a team that defeated us in three straight game. I′m sure that the home advantage of Balkan is the one felt most in the league but their win in Sofia on December 29th proved that this team has learned to win away as well. To be second we need to win in Prishtina next week. However this game is important to us because if Sigal is defeated in Romania we can lose up to 4 points next week. We have to win also because as Cup holders and a team with title ambitions, we can′t afford to lose our confidence. From this point of view the game is very important. We have advantage because of the fatigue in Balkan but I think that our bigger advantage is in the fact that our opponent has an important game against Rilski on Sunday.   To our advantage also is the home court. I home the fans will support us despite the hard defeat of the football team. We proved that the biggest positive and Levski′s best player are the strong fans. The fans that can make us champions.   The defeat from a few days ago is unrealistic. Our team had to be up between 8 and 12 points at the break. We didn′t materialize on our advantage and after that came the strong minutes for the hosts. I can say once again that Balkan is very good team with very good coach."
