Three games left in a great and exciting regular season in EUROHOLD Balkan League

Only three games are left to be played in the regular season of EUROHOLD Balkan League. We witnessed a lot of drama and excitement since the start of the competition in October and we are ready to reach the final stages now. The situation in the competition is almost clear as five teams are certain of a spot in the Top 6 and two teams are out of it.    Galil Gilboa, Sigal Prishtina, Levski, Balkan and Teodo are guaranteed a spot in the Top 6 as Galil will surely have one of the first two positions which means direct qualification for the Final 4 at the end of April. The second direct qualifier will be decided between Sigal Prishtina and Levski as the teams will meet in Kosovo on Wednesday, March 26th and decide this contest.    The looser of this game with Balkan and Teodo will be a part of the quarterfinal. The battle for the last spot in the Top 6 is between Kumanovo 2009 and Peja. The Macedonians already finished with their matches in the regular season and have 6 wins and 10 losses. Peja on the other side has a 6-9 record and will visit Balkan in their last game next week. The situation here is crystal clear - a win for Peja will put the team in 5th position and will guarantee them a spot in the playoffs. A defeat for Peja however will mean that to Top 6 will go Kumanovo 2009.   The third game is between BC Galil Gilboa and KK Kozuv. The current champions are leading the pack and a win will leave them in first place.    What is sure that even in the last week of the regular season we are going to have a great clashes. There are still places up for grabs in the competition and this will surely provide us with interesting games.
