Domestic leagues: Hard loss for SCM U Craiova

SCM U Craiova suffered a very hard away defeat in round 24 of Romanian championship. The team visited Pitesti and was beaten 61-82. After this result Craiova is on 6th position in the standings with 14 wins and 9 defeats.   The hosts started well and took the early lead. After the first quarter they were up by 8 points and then by 17 at the break. In the third quarter they managed to increase the advantage even further which was enough for the victory.    James Tyler had 15 points and 15 rebounds for Craiova as Bogdan Popescu had 14 points.
