Domestic leagues: Balkan moved to second place

Balkan has moved to the second position in Bulgarian league after defeating Rilski Sportist 97-74 at home. The Greens from Botevgrad now have 14 wins and 4 defeats and are now second despite having a game less then the teams behind.
In the first half both teams were scoring a lot with Balkan having a slim lead. In the second quarter though the team strengthened its defense and took a 16-point advantage which was enough until the end.
Balkan shot great from three-point range as the team made 14 of 27 triples.
Ivan Lilov had a great game and finished with 33 points. Stanimir Marinov added 14 and 10 assists while Logan Stutz and Noah Dahlman scored 13 points apiece.
Levski didn′t play in this round and the team is currently 4th in the standings with 12-6 record.News
