Konstantin Papazov: Even the fans didn′t believe that Sigal can come back in the game

Levski was leading 17 points Sigal Prishtina but lost the game and will play in the playoffs for the Final 4. After the game the head coach of the team Konstantin Papazov made the following comments for his team′s defeat:   "First they are a good team, with good coach but perhaps their best player are the fans. With crowd like this any team can make a comeback against us. For sure our team is the better one, we cannot compare. With this phenomenal fans though, plus some stupid mistakes of our players, we let them defeat us. I′m sure we are the best team in the league and will advance, this is the reality. The sports is interesting because there are moments like this. I′m sure though that even this great crowd didn′t believe that Sigal can come back in the game. This night they supported their team from first to last minute and we have to respect that. Thanks to some stupid decisions by us we gave them a chance to come back. We missed a lay up and after that we received a triple by Berisha. The key moment is with 03.50 to play when we were up by a single point and we missed a lay up. Then our center took a stupid decision to make an unsportsmanlike foul which is a difference of 7 points. Instead of us being up by 3 by making an easy lay up, then they score two free throws plus basket and another free throw to go up by 4 points. After that we couldn′t control the things and everything was in the hands of their fans, players and coach.   In the second half there were some stupid decisions from our side and good moments for Prishtina. They played well after the break, the crowd supported them but still everything was in our hands. This is our mistake. Perhaps this match will teach us. We played a great first half and I′m sure that the fans of Prishtina told to themselves that Levski is the better team and this is the truth. Perhaps we are not a good enough team if we make such stupid things. I′m not talking about the missed lay ups but about wrong decisions. Prishtina started risking with fast breaks and triples. Yes, the first half isn′t a reality when they shot 2 of 11 but I′m sure that we are the first team to control Berisha. The last two minutes are not important. He is a great player, perhaps above the level of the league but we stopped him. This is because we prepared very well but may be God saw that crowd.   Our team is better. It′s impossible to lose after leading by 17 points but it happened. If we need to be honest after the first half the difference had to be over 25 points. There was pressure in the home team and it reflected them. The most important thing however is that Sigal Prishtina deserves to go directly to the Final 4. I think that Prishtina and Levski are the two best teams in the league. I respect Galil but it′s true. I don′t know what will happen but our two teams deserve to be in the final."
