Quarterfinal 2 preview: KK Teodo and BC Balkan seek their first qualification for the Final 4

Today will be played the first game of the second quarterfinal in EUROHOLD Balkan League. In Tivat the local Teodo will face BC Balkan and of course the hosts will try to take some advantage before the second leg next week in Botevgrad. The match starts at 19.00 local time and will be broadcast LIVE on Sportmedia.tv.   Teodo had a great run in the second half of the season in EUROHOLD Balkan League and from last position managed to get to fifth and reach the playoffs. The team made a run of 6 straight wins before losing its last match away against Balkan. However they won their first at the start of the campaign back in October so surely they are coming with confidence to this game. Teodo will rely mostly in Nikola Vucurovic who is averaging 15.8 points and on the veteran center who has 15.6 points and 10.0 rebounds. Nikola Korac also had an important role in the team′s recent run with 12.4 points and 5.0 assists. Those three player along with Manuel Johnson, Milijan Bocka and Srjan Subotic are the ones that the home fans will count on. Teodo has the ability to cause the visitors a lot of problems and the hosts should be in for an interesting encounter.   Balkan on the other side is coming to the match after a long trip and after a tough loss on Sunday in Bulgarian league. The team from Botevgrad however is playing well in the competition and until two rounds to go even had a chance for a top 2 finish. The Greens are expecting a lot from Ivan Lilov who is with 16.4 points in the regular season and Noah Dahlman who has 15.1 points and 10.1 rebounds. The captain Pavel Marinov is averaging 12.7 points and Stanimir Marinov 10.1, 5.1 boards and 5.0 assists. Those are the players the head coach Aleksandar Todorov relies most on but of course for a good result in the first leg everybody needs to perform.
