SCM U Craiova eliminated in the Cup of Romania

SCM U Craiova is out of the Cup of Romania. The team hosted the champions Asesoft Ploiesti and lost 71-97 at home. Craiova had lost the first game by 6 points and this means that the team is eliminated.

Craiova started well and took a quick 6-point advantage but soon the visitors were back. The decisive quarter was the third one when Ploiesti made a great run to take a 21-point lead which secured them the win very early.

Nikola Otovic had 20 points for Craiova while Travis Bureau added 15 and 9 rebounds.
