Sigal Prishtina and Peja started the season with victories

KB Sigal Prishtina started with a win the defense of the title in Kosovo league. The team visited Vellaznimi in the first round and won 88-72.   The hosts did very well in the first half but at the end of it Sigal took the lead. In the third quarter the team managed to increased its advantage which was enough to get the victory. Dardan Berisha had another great game with 34 points while 13 points apiece scored Blerim Mazreku and Edmond Azemi.     KB Peja also started with a victory after 89-73 in the local derby against Besa. In the second quarter Peja played very well and took a 9-point advantage. Then after the break the hosts kept their lead and won the match.   Alban Veseli finished with 19 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Drilon Hajrizi also played well with 18 and 17 while 13 points apiece had Samir Shaptahovic and Ephrem Davis.
