Domestic leagues: Good win for Kumanovo, no problems for Kozuv

KK Kumanovo 2009 recorded a very good home win in this week′s round of the Macedonian league. The team hosted the leaders and recent Cup winners Rabotnicki and won 94-88 after leading all the time.

The hosts took 11-point advantage after the first quarter and then were up by 14 after 30 minutes. In the last quarter Rabotnicki tried to come back but managed only to close the gap as the hosts held on. Uros Lukovic had 27 points and 12 rebounds for the win as Vukasin Mandic added 21 and 10.

Elsewhere KK Kozuv had an easy 91-61 win over Strumica at home. The team from Gevgelija controlled it from start to finish and ended up with the victory. Milan Janjusevic had 19 points in the winning effort while Zlatko Gocevski scored 14.

After this round Kumanovo is fourth with 10 wins and 5 defeats while Kozuv is one position down with 8-7 record.
