Rosen Barchovski, head coach of Rilski Sportist: To me the first half was the important one

BC Rilski Sportist qualified for the final in EUROHOLD Balkan League after beating KB Peja away. Here is what the head coach of the team - Rosen Barchovski had to say after this great win:

"We can easily see, with the way the game developed, that the second half was the strong one. To though the important was the first half. From the start we showed that we came there with serious intentions and desire to win. We proved to ourselves that we can because the atmosphere was great. When we entered the gym with hour and 15 minutes before the game, the hall, which is for 2 500 people, was already full and with amazing atmosphere. This is why the characted and the desire were the important things in the first half, to me it was important. In the second we believed in ourselves and it was easier.

For this match they had the objective to play slow, to hold up the tempo which is good for them in order to break our rhythm and our fast play. We trained for this, we talked about it and we wanted to make this - to be more sharp in offense which we had from start to finish. Of course when we took the lead, we started controlling the game more but we also managed to play in our style.

With 24 points difference it′s almost impossible for a come back. In the case with Kozuv against Sigal Prishtina I hardly believe it because the class of Sigal is different from this of the other team. They managed to build a very good roster and now they are a very high level, even close to Eurocup. I expect Sigal to qualify for the final.′
